If you fear sewing on buttons, you can find it much easier to use your sewing machine. You will need a button to stand up for your sewing machine, some machines and a power cap. The cover plate holds the power feed tracks to catch your fabric. You will also need a zig-zag.

Mark where you need to put your buttons. If you are replacing a button, can not stand discussion on clothing or signs where the button goes. If you are building a garment, place the opposite side of the garment to the place where the button and will align properly. Using tailor's chalk, mark the button should go where.

You will need to bring the discussion up through the hole in the lid feed. The type button sewing foot sits on the edge of the button, holding it in place. First set the width of the stitch line, and your stitch length to 0. Set the position of the needle to the left. Now the position of the button under the foot and lower the rod to put his foot on top of your button.

Lower the needle, using the crank on the hole to the left of the button. Turn the wheel toward you to lift the needle. Some prefer to point 3-4 points up and down now as you do not have a node.

With the needle raised above the foot, move the slider for the spot width until the needle is on the right of the hole. Put the needle with the hand wheel. Check again using the steering wheel to make sure the width of the point is correct. Adjust if necessary. Many prefer, then stitch about 6 points back and forth, or more.

Then you can optionally lower the needle into the hole right, move the bus back to point zero and the selector position of the needle to the right and point up and down a few times to finish.

Cut the lines, and voila! Sewing the buttons on the machine can store a number of steps, in comparison with hand sewing. If you stick a needle is a task that you fear, you just have to thread the needle, once the color of thread for sewing a button. It is also much less likely that you will chop your fingers with the needle when using the machine.
